🔥Develop Your Sadhana: Chapter 2 Yoga Sutras🔥 - Registration is open!
Sadhana Pada, Chapter 2 of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras explores specific tools to cultivate your sadhana (practice). The tools discussed are practical ways to reduce obstacles and suffering so that you can be rooted in your inner knowing.
In this 6-month long cohort, we’ll explore questions like:
☀️What are the three practices of Kriya Yoga?
☀️What are the five kleshas/obstacles we all face as humans?
☀️How is kriya yoga useful for reducing kleshas/obstacles?
☀️What are the Yamas and niyamas, and how do we practically apply them toward individual and collective liberation?
☀️What is pranayama and why is it useful for steadying the mind?
And much more!
You do not need to have taken my Chapter 1 Yoga Sutras course to join this cohort, but some prior study or exposure (in any capacity) to the Yoga Sutras is recommended.
This course is a comprehensive, consistent way to
- stay rooted in your yogic studies
- Study with a supportive community
- Adapt this wisdom to your daily life in practical, useful ways
- Explore how the Yoga Sutras relate to collective liberation

I’m excited to celebrate my 38th solar return with our amazing online global community with a Birthday fundraiser yoga practice this Thursday March 12!
I know that there are so many important things needing our support. We continue to live in a polycrisis, and it can be overwhelming to discern where you put your attention.
I’m staying steadfast in raising funds annually for QTPGM (Queer + Trans People of the Global Majority) scholarships for our 5th annual Deep Rest Retreat this year in SoCal. Because of so many people’s support from all over the world, we’ve funding 10 partial scholarships. This retreat continues to be a powerful portal where deep connections are made, transformation is held with care, and where rest is an active, daily practice. One of our core values at Find Your Breath is to increase access to these sacred practices for marginalized communities.
During a time when there is blatant violence and erasure toward trans and queer people across the US, increasing access supportive spaces for rest, digestion, and nourishing community building is invaluable.
If you can’t make it to class but still want to donate you can also Venmo me at Melissa-Shah and write “fundraiser” in the note.
Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday by dismantling barriers to wellbeing 💜. Sign up app.arketa.co/findyourbreath/schedule and spread the word!
